Frequently asked questions
How do I split a PDF into separate files?
Choose Split, then either split every N pages — every 1 page gives one file per page — or type page ranges such as 1-3, 4-8, 9-12 to get exactly the parts you need. The files are numbered automatically.
Can I take just a few pages out of a PDF?
Yes. Extract pages copies the pages you list — for example 2, 5-7 — into a new PDF and leaves the original untouched.
Can I reorder, rotate or delete pages?
Yes, in the page editor. Every page appears as a thumbnail; drag to reorder, use the rotate and delete buttons, then save a new file.
What is free and what needs Premium?
On the free plan, Merge takes up to 3 files and 5 pages in total, and Split works on documents up to 5 pages, each once a day and five times a month. The page editor saves the first 3 pages. The one-time Premium upgrade removes every limit, with no subscription.
Is anything uploaded?
No. Merging, splitting and page editing all run on your own PC, with no internet connection needed.
