An offline password manager for Windows

Your vault sits on your own disk, encrypted with AES-256. There is no server holding it, so there is no server to be breached.

Why do it in PassCraft?

A fast, private desktop toolkit — not another website that uploads your files.

No cloud, by design

Cloud password managers concentrate every user's vault in one place, which is precisely what makes them a target. A local vault has no such blast radius.

No monthly fee

Password management is not a service that needs renting. The vault is free to use, and premium is a one-time purchase.

Organised, not just stored

File entries under work, personal, finance, social or email, search by name or username, and copy a credential in one click.

How to offline password manager for Windows

4 steps, entirely on your PC.

1

Install PassCraft free from the Microsoft Store.

2

Create your vault — it is written to your own disk, encrypted with AES-256.

3

Add entries with site, username, password, URL and notes, and file them by category.

4

Search and one-click copy whenever you need a credential. Back the vault file up like any other file.

Frequently asked questions

Where is my vault stored?

On your own PC, as an AES-256 encrypted file. Nothing is uploaded and there is no account, so the vault exists only where you put it.

What happens if I lose the machine?

The vault is a file, so it is yours to back up — to an external drive or wherever you already keep backups. Because there is no cloud copy, taking that backup is your responsibility rather than a vendor's.

Does it sync between computers?

Not automatically, and that is the trade-off of a local-only design. You can copy the vault file to another machine yourself if you need it in two places.

Does PassCraft work without an internet connection?

Yes, completely. There is no sign-in, no launch-time licence check and no sync, so it behaves identically online and offline.
