Extract audio from video — offline, no upload

Pull a clean MP3 or WAV out of any video file on your own PC. No length limit, no upload, no account.

Why do it in AudioForge?

A fast, private desktop toolkit — not another website that uploads your files.

MP3, WAV, FLAC, M4A

Save the audio in whatever format you actually need, at the bitrate you choose.

Nothing uploaded

Lectures, interviews and recordings you own stay on your machine instead of passing through a free web ripper.

Whole folders

Extract audio from an entire folder of videos in one pass, same settings across all of them.

How to extract audio from video offline

4 steps, entirely on your PC.

1

Install AudioForge free from mes-dev.com.

2

3

Choose your output format and bitrate.

4

Extract. The audio file is saved locally, instantly.

Frequently asked questions

Which video formats can I extract audio from?

MP4, MKV, MOV, AVI, WebM and most other common containers. The audio track is read directly from the file on your drive.

Does extracting audio lose quality?

If you export to a lossless format the audio is preserved as-is. Exporting to MP3 re-encodes, but at higher bitrates the difference is inaudible in normal listening.

Is there a length limit?

No. A three-hour recording extracts the same way a three-minute clip does — there is no upload step to impose a cap.

Is my video uploaded to a server?

No. AudioForge works entirely offline on Windows, so recordings you own or hold in confidence never leave your PC.
